Terms and Conditions for conference fee payments for the 6th Warsaw Money-Macro-Finance Conference organized by International Centre for Economic Analysis – Polish Chapter (ICEA-Poland) – and the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw.

further called “The host” hereby confirms of being an owner of the  icea-poland.wne.uw.edu.pl website

  1. Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw (further called “WNE UW”) and ICEA are the organizers of 6th Warsaw Money-Macro-Finance Conference, which will be held on 17-18 September 2024 at 44/50 Dluga Street. The conference is dedicated to macroeconomics, monetary economics, finance and related fields. The conference is of academic and didactic nature.
  2. The condition for participation in the conference is sending the application through the conference website (icea-poland.wne.uw.edu.pl) and, after receiving acceptance, registering through the conference website and paying the relevant conference fee. The fee entitles the Participant to:
    1. participate in conference sessions keynote talks and all related discussions;
    2. receive a package of conference materials;
    3. conferences lunches and coffee breaks;
    4. participate in the conference dinner (only for presenting Participants).
  3. Under special circumstances the Participant may receive a conference fee waiver. To this end the Participant should describe them in a letter sent to icea@wne.uw.edu.pl

II. Payment methods

  1. The payments should be made through PayU system at the conference website or directly to University of Warsaw bank account. Online payments are being operated and assured by PayU. The PayU payment is automatically transferred to University of Warsaw bank account. Neither the Faculty of Economic Sciences, nor the University of Warsaw, nor ICEA receive any information related to the credit card or CVV number of the Participant.
  2. Detailed information on conference fee and deadlines is published at the conference website: icea-poland.wne.uw.edu.pl.

III. Resignation and terms of refund

  1. The Participant may resign from his/her participation in the Conference via e-mail icea@wne.uw.edu.pl
  2. The conference fee cannot be refunded.

IV. Final provisions

  1. The Participant cannot cede their rights under these terms to a third party without written consent of the Host.
  2. Submission of the abstract also means that the Participant has read these terms and accepts them.
  3. The submission of abstract means the acceptance of processing of personal data by the Host for the purposes of the Conference and of the principles resulting from generally applicable law, with particular emphasis on the Act on Protection of Personal Data dd. 29.08.1997 (Dz. U. 2002.101.926 with further amendments). The data will be processed by the University of Warsaw (NIP 525-001-12-66, REGON 000001258).  Data provision is voluntary but is required to participate in the Conference. The participant is authorized to see and modify their data.
  4. The Host does not take responsibility for any damage caused by the provision of incorrect data or other type of irregularities on the part of the Participants.
